I’m Bodo Schönfeld, an iOS Swift developer and writer from Kiel, Germany. I started my working life as a lawyer, but soon switched to my real passion – the IT business. I have been an all-rounder for almost the last 9 years, handling many different aspects of hard and software based computer technology. Since the beginning of my college time I already did quite a lot of programming, starting with Visual Basic and HTML. I stumbled over Linux (mainly Debian, Ubuntu and SuSE) and OS X right from the start of my programming life which let to iOS and OS X programming now beeing my main focus. Over the years I also worked with the basics in web development (HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript) and with Microsoft Operating Systems, cloud services like Office 365 and every aspect of the Apple Universe. After creating some apps in Objective-C, in 2014 I began working with Swift and converted my apps to it. You might want to check out my app overview here. Additionally you’ll find more information about my projects on Github. Currently I’m getting familiar with more frameworks, like Core Graphics and of course with new Swift stuff as well.
